Philip Moyersoen

He studied civil engineer-architect at Ghent University and continued with post-graduate studies at the KULeuven in real estate.
He worked between 1999-2004 as urban designer and project manager at Barcelona Regional;
From 2004-2010 as advisor strategic urban projects and infrastructure for the City of Ostend, and founded MOPurbandesign Architecture and Engineering in 2005.

He has broad experience in complex urban and infrastructural projects, for example as co-designer of the master plan Forum-Besos, a project of 180 Ha and 3.2 billion euro; project manager and designer of the International Convention Center Barcelona with Herzog and Demeuron and MAP arquitectes;
project DBFMO International Convention Center Beijing Olympics 2006 in China (2nd place after the final 3rd round); project manager Oosterweelverbinding Antwerp (closing of the Antwerp Ring Road)
(BAM); designer 7 strategic projects for Ostend, Master plan Station surroundings Ostend,
Master plan Zeeheldenplein and Westdam Ostend, master plan Citadel Diest; design of the seafront Middelkerke- Westende; Master plan and design buildings landside offshore wind industry harbour of Ostend; city project Kanaaltuinen Sint-Pieters-Leeuw (250 homes), ...

Since 2020 he is founding partner of MOP+JUNO.
